He’s everything you’d hope for in a salesperson and more: friendly, outgoing, full of fascinating stories, and most importantly, never pushy. Justin has an incredibly refreshing sales style. Instead of bombarding me with canned talking points or trying to oversell the car, he simply handed me the keys and said, “If you have any questions, let me know.” That’s it. No pressure, no gimmicks — just confidence in the product and trust in the customer’s judgment. It’s a rare, stand-out approach that instantly made me feel comfortable. Review of Negotiation & Price I’ll be honest — their initial offer came in a bit high, but don’t let that scare you away. Here’s why: the car was priced well above market value at first, and the Carfax/appraisal didn’t quite match my own research. When I brought that up, instead of becoming defensive like many dealerships might, they immediately began working with me. They compared my research against the lowest competition, adjusted their pricing accordingly, and brought my out-the-door price (including taxes) all the way down to the original sticker price — something that’s incredibly rare in the car world. From there, we negotiated even further, and I walked away paying slightly below sticker. What stood out the most was their willingness to work with a customer who had done their homework. They’ll even stack on loyalty discounts and tailor the deal to your personal situation, which shows they genuinely value your business. Review of the Overall Buying Process As a first-time car buyer, I expected stress, endless paperwork, and sales pitches for overpriced “protection plans.” But my experience at Shottenkirk Honda was nothing like that. Honestly, it felt more like walking into a phone store and simply picking out what I wanted. Their cars come with a standard protection plan — roughly $800 — which actually combines processing, PDI, and coverage all in one. Even if it were optional, I’d still take it for the peace of mind. The only slight delay was in the approval process, but that was because I came in late in the evening. The entire team stayed nearly three hours past closing to make sure everything was finalized, which tells you everything you need to know about their commitment to customer service. Special Mentions Justin Delong absolutely deserves recognition from management. His knowledge, personality, and genuine care for his customers create an experience that’s not only stress-free but enjoyable. I’ll be returning to see him for my future vehicles, and I’d recommend anyone else do the same. I’m extremely happy with my vehicle, the only thing that I’m a bit upset about is the paint wax job, it’s not the end of the world, but the outside wasnt really buffed too great, I’ll have to clean off some smudges and pinhair scratches along with the rotors that have some slight oxidation. Nonetheless it’s a great car, extremely satisfied with the service. Bottom line: If you want a smooth, fair, and downright enjoyable car-buying experience, go to Shottenkirk Honda — and go straight to Justin.

I drive further in miles to have my car serviced here bc of the customer service I’ve always received! I was asked when I bought the car to give them a chance to service the car. Though further, it was worth it. I like being kept informed of what is going on, I like the opportunity to have a ride if needed, I like being offered a loaner vehicle when it was going to take longer, I like the waiting area and popcorn 😊, but mostly the customer service Ginger gives! She has always been professional, Efficient and kind and sincere! I appreciate her sending texts keeping me up to date on the progress! She also on my last encounter reached out in friendship as my mom was hospitalized she showed and expressed her genuine concern! Ginger ROCKS! Thank you for such great customer service and keeping my CRV running well!
